Andreas Öhman
Andreas is a teller of stories about young love and endless summers. His warm-hearted narration goes into everything he does. And that’s plenty. The simplicity of growing up in the vast forests of northern Sweden left room for his imagination to wander freely, and film making became his escape. Since then, Andreas’ career has skyrocketed, and at 25 he directed Simple Simon, his first feature film which also got shortlisted for the Oscars.
Ever since he’s developed and refined his skill set and style by experimenting with as many different formats and esthetics as possible. However, he’s always able to capture that unique essence that makes all his work special and allows him to stay true to his personality as a creator.
