Yana is interested in all kinds of human relationships and likes to explore the interaction between young individuals. Dialogue is somewhat of her expertise. She graduated from Stockholm’s Academy of Dramatic Arts (STDH) where she studied Film Directing, and her background in drama is revealed through her way of directing people both on and off screen. Yana was shortlisted for the “Young Director Award” at Cannes Lions 2015 and has won many awards for her short films. Apart from working with advertisement, she’s currently developing her debut feature film, supported, along with others, by STHLM DEBUT.
